Yard Sale Time

Me and my daughter are getting up early in the morning to check out some yard sales. I have been hooked since we went to a community yard sale in the spring. Oh my, the good things we found. Best find so far is an American Girl doll for $1, yes $1. We are not sure of the dolls name, but she was in GREAT condition and was dated 2007. She didn't have any clothes on, but I made her a pillowcase dress. Only wish there were 2, because I have 2 granddaughters.

Another great find was a royal blue bowl. It caught my attention because it was unique. (If my camera battery were not dead, I would take a picture). The young lady I bought this from said it was a wedding gift but it didn't match their decor. It doesn't match my decor either, but I love it. When I came home I searched the internet for the name stamped on the bottom of the bowl, $195.00 plus shipping from a place I had never heard of.

So now I'm hooked, it's like a treasure hunt. We usually take the granddaugthers, but we are going alone, I can't wait.

Cute Onesies and Monogrammed Bloomers

I love making darling outfits for babies and toddlers, they are only little once and they can only wear these cute things for a short time. I have a granddaughter named Peyton, but this is for a different Payton. I hope Payton had a great birthday and I hope her mommy loved this outfit.

Badge Reels

I think Badge Reels are so adorable. Badge reels are a great way to show off your style at work. These are great for nurses, teachers, or anyone required to have an ID at all times. They have a 24" retractable cord with slide clip or alligator clip. The price is $6.00 and includes 1 initial monogram.

Key Fobs

Here is one of the many items I love making, key fobs. This is just a few of the many color combinations available. The key fobs are $6.00 . They make great gifts.
